TEAM Class

Are you a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle who is interested in helping the child in your life grow in the faith?  Maybe you are interested in how we all develop and hopefully mature and deepen our faith from cradle to grave.  It could be that you’re an elder or deacon who takes seriously your call to impart the faith story to our younger members.  Central has the great opportunity to consider these issues and much more in the important and foundational area of faith development through a 10 week course that is to be offered this Fall.  The Reverend Dr. Sharon Warner, Professor of Educational Ministry and Dean of the Lexington Theological Seminary will teach a class entitled Faith Formed in the Stream of Life Experience and Cultural Change on Tuesday evenings, September 14 - November 16 (6:30 - 8:00 p.m.) in Room 211 of the Sanctuary Building.  The class will spend time discussing how faith changes over the span our lives, what the characteristics are of faith styles/stages, and how cultural changes in the past couple of decades affect the formation and growth of faith.  Please consider sharing in this remarkable study opportunity.  If you have questions contact Carolyn Richart at 233-1551 or crichart@centralchristianlex.org.  We ask that you register for the class before Monday, September 13.   Hope to see you on the 14th!
