Adult Day Center

A place like home. The Adult Day Center offers personal care, nursing care, activities and meals in a home-like setting for adults who need assistance with daily living as a result of physical or mental impairments. This is a not-for-profit service affiliated with Christian Care Communities.

Interfaith Alliance

The Interfaith Alliance of the Bluegrass promotes the shared values and principles of Kentucky's faith traditions as a unifying and constructive force in the preservation and renewal of democratic life.

Martin Luther King Worship Service

Each year in January (usually the third Sunday in January / the day before Dr. King's Birthday), Central Christian Church hosts a community - wide worship service in honor of the ministry of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Highlighting King's work, leadership of the service comes from many area churches. The entire community is invited to join as we celebrate and remember the important legacy, ministry and words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.


Mother to Mother

Partners in support. This program has been forming intentional friendships between a partner mother and a support mother. Teams are encouraged to meet once a month and have contact throughout the month. For more information, call (859) 269-8207

Refugee Ministry
"When I was but a stranger, you took me in...."
Working with
Kentucky Refugee Ministries, we help provide refugees with apartments and furnishing, help enroll children in school, get families access to medical treatment, and secure employment for family members who are able to go to work.

Community-wide discussions dealing with social issues.

Thrift Shop

Clothing for minimal cost, open to the public. Open Tuesday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first floor of the Watkins Building. Shop or donate using our handy donation form here
