Central Christian Church Child Care Center

SCHOOL PROGRAM

Children praying at mealtimeThe school program is designed to guide the development of each child socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, as well as spiritually. We want him/her to: feel secure, play fairly, show concern for the welfare of others, demonstrate politeness, and learn the ability to listen and follow directions. The child's goal is to seek self-improvement rather than competing against others. This in itself will teach morals, ethics, and principles to be adopted by the child and will lead to a happy, successful and productive life for each child.

The childcare center is open to families of all beliefs. The classroom curricula of the center is non-religious, and there is not a specific doctrine or philosophy advocated. However, in that the center is a ministry of Central Christian Church, the presence of God is recognized and mentioned in daily life, such as in prayers before meals. Optional extra-curricular activities are offered, conducted by the church, that are more specifically religious in nature. Parents have the opportunity to decide if their child(ren) should attend these activities or not. Alternate activities are provided for children who do not participate in church offered programs.
